Session: 16-Jul-2019 07:00 to
11:00hrs
Notes: Another good session
that included a juvenile Firecrest, probably fledge from nearby. A second Lesser
Whitethroat of the season was also nice, Whitethroat numbers seem low so far
though. I am noticing that most Chiffchaffs are captured early and Willow
Warblers later in the session. Might have to check historically to see if this
is true.
Weather: sunny, warm ,calm
Present: JL, IW, RJC
Nets: 48metres three rides
of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 07:30 to 10:40hrs
Lure (audio): Warblers, Misc
Migrants, Redstart intermittently.
