Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure

It was a steady capture for about the first third of the session, it dipped during the second and then in the last third it picked up as the cloud lifted and the sun broke through.

Recaptures: Blue Tit 2y 16d, Whitethroat ringed 3d ago

Sightings 31 Species: Birding was slow today with less activity than yesterday. Four Wheatears out on the grassy area east of the enclosure probably the best sighting. The hirundines appeared around the same time as yesterday and there were many more over the treeline in the west. A flight of Mallard north in four groups suggested that autumn is not far off.
