Session:
Headlines: Snow flurries on the
way to Snelsmore that stopped soon after arrival. Session numbers match last
winter and numbers of Blue Tit and Coal Tit similar with Great Tit numbers up.
We don’t recapture many of the pulli Nuthatch ringed in nest boxes so the bird today is
good even though it hatched in a box about 30metres from the feeder. Looking
at the list of previous visit 5 totals 2009/10 must have been very busy.

Sightings 28 Species: Ian's list, not a good day
for observing as the coldness when standing around is not much
help with the concentration, I added a few new species to my year list though.
