21/10 Greenham Common Estover(616) Feeder

Location: Greenham Common Estovers Feeder (616)
Session: 21-Oct-2018 07:30 to 10:50hrs
Headlines: A pre-season session at the feeder, not a bad total considering the feeder has only been up for a week. Interestingly the only recapture was a Robin. No adult or retrap  tits and the Marsh Tits manage to allude capture. 
Weather: Bright, sunny, clear, cool, warm in the sun, calm most of the session.

Nets: 36Metres in three rides around feeders, 22metres in two rides in the west scrub up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lure (feeder): black sunflower, peanuts, niger
         (audio)    BC,CC,FC,GC, LR, BR; intermittently.

Recaptures: (1) Robin ringed 15-Oct-2017

Sightings 28 Species: Ian’s list, probably missed a few as we were quite busy, best species a croaking Raven flying quite high northwest, several groups of Redwing mostly flying west, several Lesser Redpoll flying about; let us hope they find the feeders this winter.
