Session:
Headlines: A pre-season session
at the feeder, not a bad total considering the feeder has only been up for a
week. Interestingly the only recapture was a Robin. No adult or retrap tits and the
Marsh Tits manage to allude capture.
Weather: Bright, sunny, clear,
cool, warm in the sun, calm most of the session.
Present: JL, IW, DL
Nets: 36Metres in three
rides around feeders, 22metres in two rides in the west scrub up from 08:00 to
10:30hrs

Sightings 28 Species: Ian’s list, probably
missed a few as we were quite busy, best species a croaking Raven flying quite high northwest, several groups of Redwing mostly flying west, several Lesser Redpoll flying about; let us hope they find the feeders this winter.
