03/11 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Estovers Feeder
Session: 03 Nov-2019 07:30 to 11:30hrs
Notes: First session of the winter at the feeders. Quite a good capture included a 2014 ringed Long-tailed Tit (6 Years). Only one Redwing showed interest in the audio but stayed in the tree tops. Fewer Finches than last year’s matching visit. Good numbers of tits made for a quite busy session.
Weather: overcast with one or two sunny periods, occasional spotting, Calm, breezy in the last 30 minutes.
Present: JL, IW, DL
Nets: 62metres in seven rides of 10,12, 12, 18, 12, 12, 6 metres up from 08:00 to 10:00hrs
