03/03 Bagnor

Location: Bagnor Feeder
Session: 03-Mar-2020, 07:45 to 11:45hrs
Notes: Ground frost when we got on site, but not as cold as expected. Started a little late; miss-timed the traffic. Very slow early, one bird first round, and just a few for the next two rounds. We thought we were going to have a quiet morning. It began clouding over around 10:15hrs and birds, probably that had been on territory in the sunny weather, began to arrive; the next round we extracted 21 and the final round 13. Seems a long time since we had a sunny morning, very pleasant, had almost forgotten what it was like!
Weather: Bright sunny, calm early breezy later, warm in the sun, ground frost first thing.
