10/12 Bagnor Feeder

Session: 10/12/2021, 07:40 to 11:30hrs

Notes: Very few Great Tits again at the feeders and no pulli retraps today. Birds comparatively

scarce generally in the scrub of the old cress bed.

Weather: clear, sunny, breezy, cold

Nets: 12metres 2 rides of 6M nets one each side of feeder up from 08:00 to 11:00hrs

Lures: Feeder: Peanuts, Black Sunflowers, Niger, Fat Balls

Blue Tit      ringed: 05/02/2020, 09/11/2021x6, 23/11/2021x9, 05/12/2021 (Snelsmore Feeder)

Great Tit    ringed: 23/11/2021

 

Sightings: Little activity except for Jackdaws and Woodpigeons, A good-sized noisy flock of 

Siskins stayed in the treetops unfortunately; they have been coming to the feeder though as

the niger seed level has begun to drop more over the last week or so. Think there may have

been two Marsh Tits but never saw/heard more than one at a time.
