Session:24/06/2022 07:35
to 11.00hrs
Notes. Not so many birds today due to blustery wind but quality provided
by a juvenile Woodlark and second juvenile Dartford Warbler. The re-trapped
Chiffchaff was ringed last September, as a 1st summer bird.
Session:
Juvenile Woodlark
Present: JL,IWRecaptures:(01)
Chiffchaff ringed 16/09/2021
Sightings: Not much activity. Swifts in groups of 1 to 3, may have been drifting south, perhaps a bit early though. Jackdaws more active than Wednesday flying out from the bunkers for most of the morning. Difficult to be sure of the number of Dartford Warblers. Apart from the resident pair of Stonechats around the enclosure, a family party of at least five out on the grassland to the east.
