17/09 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure wk38

Session: 17/09/2024 07:40 to 11:15hrs

Notes: More Blackcap and a few Chiffchaff, otherwise species similar to the last couple of sessions. No matching visits from last year for this week and next week I was in Skiathos.

Present: JL,IW,NC.

Weather: bright sunny clear, warm later, light to medium breeze..

Nets: 48metres 3 Rides, up from 08:00 to 10:30 hrs.

Lures audio: (Warbler), (Misc Migrants), (RT), (YB) intermittently.

Recaptures: (00) None

Sightings: The first Mistle Thrush I’ve seen here since June and Kestrel are scarce at this end of the common recently. The Grey Wagtail was feeding along the edge of the floods to the south of the enclosure.
