Brambling 1st Winter Male 22-Feb-2015

Notes: The Lesser redpoll first seen at the feeder 12th Feb, much later than in recent winters, a flock of 10+ appears resident at around the feeder to date; four Brambling seen there this week, nice to capture the best marked bird. More Great Tit captured than Blue Tit which is different! Good variety of species.
Sightings 33 Species: A few finches flying about, not many Blue and Great Tits coming to the feeder; speaking to one of the cattle men they may have a better offer along the road, he says he has lots coming to his garden. Not as many as usual appeared when the nets came down
