Weather: Overcast and breezy

Present: JL, IW

Nets: four 60’ and one 40’ up from 06:00 to 10:00hrs

Lure: Audio Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Firecrest, Goldcrest, Redstart and Wood Warbler (well worth a try!)

Capture14: Blackcap 2/0, Chiffchaff 7/1, Coal Tit 1/0, Treecreeper, 1/0, Willow Warbler 2/0

Recaptures: Chiffchaff 359 days

Age Range: All juveniles except Blackcap 2, Chiffchaff 2

Notes: A bit breezy, not many birds moving, perhaps a bit of a Chiffchaff movement. Not Robin heard or seen away from the trees and relatively few Blackbird probably in the woods turning leaf litter..

Hobby flashed through low heading west over trees.  Sparrowhawk was carrying a small bird and reacted to the Hobby when as it flew under it.

Sightings 28 Species: Still pretty quiet out on the heath
