18/02 Bagnor Feeder

Location: Bagnor Feeder
Session: 18-Feb-2016 07:45 to 11:30hrs
Headlines: Very quiet, nice day and most seemed more interested in territory than food.
Weather: ground frost early, bright sunny clear sky, warm in the sun
Present: JL, IW
Nets: 12metres a 6m net each side of feeders.
Lure (feeder): peanut, black sunflower, nyger
Capture (New/Recapture) 11 (8/3): Blue Tit 3/3, Great Tit 5/0
Recaptures: 3 Blue Tit 269d from Mount Hill box B01, 337d, 1y 13d
Age Range: all 1st winter except: adults Blue Tit 2, Great Tit 1
Sightings 34 Species: Some NW gull movement, bigger movements seen in the distance, plenty of song not much activity along the hedges, reed bunting singing in the scrub/sedge, no winter thrushes and just a couple of siskin flying about.
