21/06 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure
Session: 21-Jun-2017 06:16 to 10:15hrs
Headlines: The weather early was much fresher than recently and is probably why I slept a little later than I intended. As mentioned before activity here is quite low this year. I only captured two re-traps during the 3.5 hrs session. A whitethroat ringed a week ago and a Great Tit ringed 26-Aug-2016. By about 09:30hrs the oppressive heat had returned.
Weather: Fresher slight breeze early, hot and calm later
Present: JL, IW, JHW
Nets: 48metres in three rides of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 06:30 to 10:00hrs
Lure (none ):
Sightings 34 Species: not much song or movement today, best sighting juvenile Dartford Warblers
