Headlines: I was away for this visit.
The Reserve lock on a gate had been tampered
with and fell apart causing a delayed start. Despite trying to insure that leaving fishermen did
not lock the gate, it was found to be locked when trying to leave. The bailiff
had to attend with a Reserve officer to release the ringers!
A poor capture: 27 is below the average of 45 for visit 09; range 2013-24
1998-87.
Last year’s matching visit had more variety but fewer Reed Warblers.
