19/01 Bagnor Feeder

Headlines: An easy session, a total of 30  for visit 06 is below the average for this site. More juveniles captured than last year for both Blue and Great Tit. Species mostly as expected except numbers lower than recent top-up visits indicated would be captured. Perhaps a start mid-morning might produce better numbers.
Weather: cold, ground frost, calm, warmer when the   above the tree line

Sightings 34 Species: Ian's List, first Lesser Redpoll here for a while, as the end of the shooting season approaches there are still lots of Pheasant about (38 counted earlier in the week), no winter thrushes again, they are frequently not far north on the Berkshire Downs etc.
