Session: 10-Jun-2018 07:00 to
10:30hrs
Headlines: Having a “spare”
weekend off from CES we ringed in the scrub around the feeder compound at
Greenham Common. It was relatively quiet with little avian activity. A few
juvenile Robin and Dunnock and a single juvenile Blue Tit with an accompanying
adult comprised the bulk of the capture. A sign that the season is moving on
was a Marsh Tit in full moult. A couple of Garden Warblers both males in
breeding condition probably the best of the morning.

Sightings 37 Species: Ian’s list, numbers of most summer visitors seem well down on previous years. Spotted Flycatcher probably the best bird and shows that many species are still on the move, whether coming in or going out is debatable.
