One of todays Blackcaps: a 1st winter male
Sightings 27 Species: Unlike yesterday there was little visible movement in any direction. A small flock of Fieldfare flew north and were the only individuals of this species seen all morning. Several Redwings flew about, fewer than yesterday though. A couple of groups of Lesser Redpoll dropped into the enclosure before moving on. As we took the nets down a Dartford Warbler gave a couple of calls, but we were unable to find it when we, a little later, search the area it called from.
