Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure

Notes: Ideal conditions today, calm and often overcast. Fewer birds about though. Added an extra net to try and catch a Swallow, however first you need Swallows, then you need them in numbers to have chance, so no luck. Most migrants were scarce except for Willow Warbler, some carrying fat. 

Weather: Cloudy with sunny periods, warm, calm light breeze towards the end of the session

Nets: 66metres in four rides of 18m, 18m, 12m, 18m up from 07:30 to 10:30hrs

Lure (audio): misc. migrants, warblers, redstart, swallow intermittently

Recaptures: (01) BLUTI ringed as juvenile 12/09/2018

Sightings 30 Species: saw another juvenile Dartford Warbler (it wasn’t ringed), otherwise activity was fairly limited compared to yesterday.
