Sightings 32 Species: The bird of the day was the Great White Egret. Earlier a Grey Heron had flown northeast so when a bird of a similar size flew back, seen in silhouette against the sky, we assumed it to be the heron returning. Fortunately Ian checked it out through binoculars and realised it was white. We all managed to get good enough views before it got too far away flying southwest. Swallows were going through South in singles and small groups for most of the morning. Generally the heath was quiet compared to yesterday.
