15/04 GCO C19 Daily Walk

Since the Lock-down has stopped most birding and ringing activities I have been doing a count on my daily permitted walk. The table below is of a fixed route walk over the western end of Greenham Common as far as the Fire Plane Gravel and back to my house and when every bird identified on a seen and/or heard basis is counted. There will be a bias as mostly they are singing males except for Linnets which to date are almost always in pairs; hence the high counts. The average (medn) column is an indication of the probable number of territories where appropriate along the route.
