Location: Greenham
Common Western Enclosure
Session:
Notes: Another blustery wind affected session. It looked
quite promising early as there seemed to be a few birds out on the gorse, unfortunately
they soon disappeared, and the wind gained in strength making capture almost impossible.
Present:
Weather: sunny periods, blustery wind strengthening as the session progressed.

Recaptures:
Sightings 27 Species: Still a few of the Stonechats family about. West of the enclosure a few birds were moving along the bushes towards the enclosure. IW thought he saw a flash of a russet tail, but we were unable to relocate the bird. Later, on a walk round east of the enclosure we encounter some more birds moving through the gorse and this time we had good views of an immature Redstart , a year tick for both of us.
