21/07 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure

Session: 21-Jul-2020, 07:10 to 10:50hrs

Notes: Sylvia warblers on the move today and a few  phylos, quiet otherwise

Present: JL,IW

Weather: clear blue sky, warm, calm, breezy towards end of session.

Nets: 48metres in 3 net rides, two 18M and one 12M net up from 07:30 to 10:30hrs

Lure (Audio): Warbler, Misc Migrants, Redstart, intermittently.

Recaptures:( 0)

Sightings 24 Species: A male Sparrowhawk shot over our heads from quite high up  and into a hawthorn bush where there were several small birds. It flushed out of the other side with one of them. No hirundines seen today.
