Notes: Ideal Conditions today resulted in a better catch than recently. Willow Warblers and Blackcaps dominated and another Lesser Whitethroat. Nearly matched last years capture for a change!

1st CY Lesser Whitethroat

Present: JL

Weather: Sunny with cloud building to overcast, warm early cooler later, light SW breeze.

Nets: 48metres in 3 net rides, two 18M and one 12M net up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs

Lure (Audio): Warblers, Misc Migrants, Redstart, Hirundines intermittently.

Recaptures:(0)        None
Sightings 22 Species: Not much birding done as was chatting to two visitors I had not seen for a while. No walk around and the strong hirundine passage of yesterday was not evident today.
