03/11 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure Week 44
Session: 03/11/2021, 07:40 to 10:45hrs
Notes:  Just a re-trap Blue Tit today. First noticeably cold day of the autumn and few birds out on or moving across the heath.
Present: JL,IW,
Weather: Overcast, cold, light breeze.
Nets: 48metres in 3 rides of 18M, 18M, 12M up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lures Audio:  BC-CC-FC-GC, Yellow-browed Warbler, BR-LR-SK, FF-RE

Blue Tit                     ringed: 27/10/2019

Sightings: Not much activity, Usual Jackdaw  flocks and just one substantial flock of

Woodpigeons head south. The Gadwall came up from the lakes over the back of Sandleford

Heath and a few Lesser Black-backed Gulls headed south.
