Location: Thatcham Marsh LNR CES Visit 1 of 12
Session: 30/04/2022 06:00 to 11:00hrs
Notes: Not much comment from me on this session as I was elsewhere. Numbers
seem to be well down on last year’s first visit though Reed and Sedge Warbler are similar.
A 2016 ringed Blackcap from the same scrub is a good record as is a 2017 Reed
Warbler ringed on the main reed bed.
Present: DL,IW,JHW,NC
Weather: Overcast cool, calm.
Nets: 208metres in 2 rides, 18Mx11 reed bed plus a 10M scrub nets
