Notes: A shorter non-CES session today to enable the ride to be tidying up. The
Blue Tit was in primary moult which is a little earlier than normal and nice to
ring a Great Spotted Woodpecker and Jay and come out of the process relatively unscathed.
The reed bed still seems unusually quiet still.

Sighting: Cuckoos both male(s) and female(s) active around the reed bed. A family party of Long-tailed Tits flew over and into the scrub. No hirundines or finches detected!
