One of today's Willow Warblers
Notes: It was quite breezy today so
the nets were blowing about which may have curtailed the capture. The was some
activity on the heath but few entered the enclosure.
Present: JL,IW.
Weather: Cloudy with sunny Periods, breezy, cool.
Nets: 48metres 3 Rides, up from 08:00 to 10:30 hrs.
Lures audio: (BC-CC-FC-GC-GW-WH-LW-WO),(YW-WC-W.-TP-RT-RZ),(GH),(RT) intermittently. 
Sightings: Buzzards active early
today. Mid-morning there was a squabbling group on the gorse that consisted of
two Stonechat, two or more Whitethroats and a Willow Warbler. Best species seen
Spotted Flycatcher in the top of the tree margin to the north.
