Age Range: All first winter except: Blue Tit and Redwing.

Adult Redwing, a very dark long-winged individual
Notes: A with the last two mornings arrived in spots of rain but decided to persevere, not much about though. Tried two new Latvian song lures and both look as if they might work well. The Redwing lure called in four of the six seen during the morning and one captured. The Fieldfare lure pulled in the only one seen during the morning. It stayed in the top of a bush by the net for about 5 minutes before flying off south. Green Woodpecker was a nice if painful capture, its needle sharp claws puncturing my skin during handling. On the observation front, 10 Wigeon over is the first here I can remember and the first good flock of mainly Siskin of the winter seen
