Nets: 2 18’ nets one each side of feeders up from 08:00 to 11:00hrs
Lure: Feeders nyger seed, fat balls, black sunflower seed, peanuts

Age Range: Adults Blue Tit 42%, Dunnock 1, Great Spotted Woodpecker 1

Notes: A cold start with some good number for the early net rounds that stopped around 10:00hrs with another flurry for the final round. Like the other feeders Greenfinch and Goldfinch numbers have dropped to just the odd individual, probably have moved south? Lots of long wing mostly adult Blue Tits and weight varied from 9.8 to 11.8grms. A near 5 year old Blue Tit is a good recapture.
As for most of the second winter period few thrushes about and even fewer winter finches.
