Recaptures: Blackcap 237 days; ringed at Brimpton GPs 18-Aug-2014, Blue Tit 217days, Bullfinch 344 days, Cetti’s Warbler 294 days, 260 days, 217 days, Chiffchaff 321 days, Long-tailed Tit 301 days,189 days, others less than 100 days.

Recaptures today Thatcham LNR.

Notes: Late start, (due to car break down) and tangled net, good conditions early, from about 08:30 the wind got progressively stronger and we stopped at about 10:15hrs The wind snapped a mist net pole when nets being taken down.
Sightings 38 Species: Sedge Warbler and Grasshopper Warbler singing early but had move on by the first round and not heard again, Other warblers singing for the whole session. Swallow was a flyover, Pochard pair plus one on the nearby pool.
