Notes: Quite cold early but calm. Three Lesser Whitethroat is a red letter day for this site; 5 in total so far this year when we usually hope for one! If it had not become breezy might have more Meadow Pipits, at least three bounce out of billowing nets and one freed itself before we got to it.

Sightings 29 Species: Bit of a Swallow passage over today, mostly into the wind. Small flock of Meadow Pipits is recent. No Robin, Dunnock, Chaffinch seen, finches generally scarce, winter arrival of these should be obvious when it happens.
