Notes: Two Cetti’s Warbler started the session, both new. Next a couple of Great Tits from the scrub net. The next round was of 16 birds including a blackcap, chiffchaff, goldcrest, and reed bunting. Another (retrap) Cetti’s Warbler from the scrub followed and then another three nets rounds of between one and five birds before we took the nets down early so that my ride could be strimmed (thanks Jon) after last week’s mower breakdown and we could get home to see the Russian GP

Sightings 39 Species: Tawny Owl calling when we arrived. A small movement of Redwing, the first of the winter for us, after one or two fleeting probable’s in the week. Cetti’s Warbler still quite active otherwise usual autumn fair.
