Notes:
Good session. We had our first ever re-trap Dartford
Warbler (the local female), Marsh Tits are unusual out on the heath, good
numbers of Chiffchaffs going through also some Garden Warblers and the first
Willow Warblers since the 22nd July. Blackcaps included a bird ringed elsewhere
no details yet, the original ringing date etc is not showing on the system!
Session:
The two March Tits ringed out on the heath scrub both juveniles.
Scarce birds these days even at our winter feeders

Weather: Cloudy with sunny periods, warm, calm
Nets: 48metres in 3 rides
of 18M, 18M, 12M up from 07:50 to 10:30hrs

Sightings 24 species: Apart from the
Marsh Tits nothing unexpected.
Using the revised Birdtrack app we also recorded: Common Lizard, Large Red Damselfly, Common Hawker, Emperor Dragonfly also Small Skipper and Gatekeeper butterflies.
