Common Western Enclosure Week 31

Notes. Garden Warblers on the move today 9 captured in
one net round. The House Sparrow is a new species for the Western Enclosure and
a juvenile Green Woodpecker that stayed in the net, the usually bounce out.

Nets: 48metres in 3 rides
of 18M, 18M, 12M up from 07:45 to 10:30hrs

The red on the "moustache" below the eye indicates it to be a male
Recaptures:(none)
Sightings 31 species: The Woodlark was singing for a while over towards
Sandleford Heath. Heard Stonechat clacking when putting the nets up but couldn’t
find them subsequently. No sign of any Swifts over the town. Very little insect activity
