Feeder CES visit 8 of 8
Session:22/02/2022 07:45
to 11:15hrs
Notes. The feeders have been slow over the last week or so, probably most
birds visiting later in the day spending time on territory before coming to
feed. Today the first birds didn’t arrive until 09:40hrs and activity
remained slow for the rest of the session. Nice to capture a few Goldfinches, they are scarce at our feeders this year. This was the last visit this winter
for the CES project, we managed to do all eight visits here despite the unsettled weather. Nice
to get out after several days of being blasted by the gale force winds that
destroyed my garden fence.
