Location: Snelsmore Feeder
Session:27/02/2022 07:45
to 11:15hrs
Notes. A post CES visit enabled an additional net to hopefully add some
variety to the species captured. A couple of re-trap Marsh Tits. One was the individual ringed
recently with the very obvious bleached tips to the old greater coverts and the
other was ringed Nov 2019 and not re-trapped again until today. There were few
early birds as is usual for the time of year with most birds arriving from
around 10:00hrs. The local Coal Tits stayed away, the two captured being new
birds. Otherwise, a little bit more variety than the usual three or four
species from this site.
