Notes: More Blackcap again and a Cetti’s Warbler ringed elsewhere, interested to see where it is from. The Reed Bunting lure worked pulling in four new birds. One  of the IPhones did a spontaneous discharge overnight so couldn’t play the Yellow-browed lure. It looks to be a very good Blackcap year compared to 2021.

Weather: sunny periods, cool calm light breeze later.
Nets: 198metres in 1 ride, 18Mx11 reed bed ride up from 08:00 to 10:30 hrs
Lures: Warblers, Misc Migrants, Reed Bunting, Redstart, intermittently.

Sightings: Quite few Bullfinch on the move late morning, a group of hirundine through

mid-morning. Raven seem to be regular this time of year, drawing our attention with their

croaking calls.
