21/09 Greenham Common

Notes: After saying yesterday numbers were tailing off, we caught more Blackcap than Chiffchaff today. One of the first birds of the morning was a Firecrest always a nice bird to see.

Weather: sunny periods, calm, warm.
Nets: 48metres 3 Rides, 18M, 18M and 12M up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lures: Warblers, Misc Migrants, Yellow-browed Warbler/Crests, Redstart, intermittently

Recaptures: (none)

Sightings:  No hirundine seen today and three Red Kites seen after yesterdays no show. Most of the unusual was non-bird including the first Ruddy Darter I have seen for a year or two and another Clouded Yellow.
