30/09 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure (wk39)
Session: 30/09/2022 07:40 to 11:00hrs
Notes: Thick fog for about a third of the session, very autumnal. A good movement of Chiffchaff including 11 in one net round. A few Blackcap and a small flock of Long-tailed Tits made up most of the rest.

Weather: foggy early, cloudy later, some sunny periods, calm, light breeze end of session, cool
Nets: 48metres 3 Rides, 18M, 18M and 12M up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lures: Warblers, Misc Migrants, Yellow-browed Warbler/Crests, Redstart, intermittently.

Recaptures: (none)

Sightings:  Hirundine moving southwest in small groups when the fog lifted. Two Skylark over east before returning west. Another lone Siskin over calling. Dartford Warblers quite noisy.
