Feeder CES 2022/23.01
Session: 09/11/2022 07:30 to 11:30hrs
Notes: Another busy session and unexpected as the food take-up has been slow here until this week. Both Blue and Great Tits seem to have had a good year but the two Marsh Tits normally present around the feeder not here today. Good job we don’t mind ringing Blue and Great Tits, a bit different to ringing warblers that don’t fight back, today I have a couple of sore fingers from being hacked at, fortunately they don’t break the skin.
Present: JL,IW
Weather:
sunny periods, occasionally
a few spots of rain, light breeze, cool
Nets: 12M, a 6m net each side of fthe eeder 08:00 to 11:00hrs
Lures: Fat Balls, Niger, Black Sunflower Seed, Peanuts.
