Notes: About four Sedge Warblers singing on the reed beds but none near the nets until nets down. Last week’s Cetti’s Warbler from elsewhere that we re-trapped last week had been ringed as a juvenile 15/08/2022 at Abberton Reservoir, Essex and we also re-trap it last year on 09/10/2022. A quiet morning otherwise.

Weather: Overcast, a  few spots of rain early, calm, cool early warm later.
Nets: 298Metres, 1 reed bed ride up from 07:30 to 11:00hrs
Lures: None.

Sighting: The Great White Egret flew east over us at nets up. Plenty of Chiffchaff going through still as well as several singing, presumably paired and on territory.
