Location:
Thatcham
Marsh LNR
Session: 23/04/2023 07:00 to 11:30hrs
Notes: The weather was not too promising but turned out better than
expected, quite pleasant in the sunny periods. The first Reed and Sedge Warblers
of the year ringed, included a Sedge Warbler ringed elsewhere, details to
follow. The two Willow Warbler were both quite dull plumaged birds, and we
thought them to be Chiffchaff when extracting from the net though they did have
a good eye stripe. Their wing formal confirmed them to be
Willow Warblers.
