Notes:  The first summer Blackcaps of the year. Mostly juveniles today and the summering Titchfield Haven Reed Warbler again. Two Great Spotted Woodpeckers one a juvenile with mum, there was a further individual calling from the reed bed scrub while we extracted these birds from the net.

Nets: 198M reed bed ride up from 06:30 to 10:30hrs

Sighting: No Cuckoo this week, probably on their return journey, Well grown Tufted ducklings on the

nearby pit.
