Headlines: A slow capture today, the first capture not until 07:50. Not much sign of passage from any particular species, very few phylos. Chiffchaffs did not appear until late morning. There was a pause of about an hour between the last captures and nets down when a Chiffchaff and a Goldcrest were in the net.

Weather: Bright, sunny, cool, light wind then breezy later.

Sightings 28 Species: A good passage of Swallows and House Martins through south south west and a Wheatear was out on the grassland to the east. The first Blackbird for a week or two in the scrub to the south.
