Session: 13-Aug-2019 07:20 to
10:50hrs
Notes: First session in week
33. Looking at the weather forecast it might be the only session;
Thursday is the only other day that has possibilities. Willow Warbler and
Whitethroat are the main migrants on the move, Garden Warblers numbers (45) look
to be tailing off. The sixth Lesser Whitethroat of the season, matches 2015
and 2018 totals and Whitethroat (44) and Willow Warbler (77) so far, look to
be heading for a bumper year, if the current rate of capture continues over
the next couple of weeks.
Weather:
Present: JL, IW
Nets: 48metres in three rides
of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lure (audio): misc. migrants,
warblers, redstart, swallows intermittently
