Session:
Notes: It was much colder this
morning than in recent days. We had a light shower just after nets up and a
couple of times during the session it looked threatening over in the west. Not
a bad capture compared to last year’s matching visit. Another significant
capture of Blackcaps; unlike yesterday (1F 11M) it was predominantly female today; (15F 8M)
Weather: overcast, cold, short
shower early, some sunny periods, light breeze early getting stronger.
Present: JL, IW
Nets: 48metres in three
rides of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 07:45 to 10:30hrs
Lure (audio): misc. migrants,
warblers, redstart, intermittently
