10/09 Greenham Common

Location: Greenham Common Western Enclosure

Session: 10-Sep-2019 07:20 to 11:30hrs

Notes: A very busy session, first round 42 birds, nothing unexpected though. Plenty of Blackcaps and Chiffchaff numbers rising. Still a couple of Willow Warblers and Whitethroats about and a late Garden Warbler. Last year's matching visit very quiet in comparision.

Weather: sunny periods, warm, calm, breezy later.

Nets: 48metres in three rides of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 08:00 to 10:45hrs

Lure (audio): misc. migrants, warblers, redstart, intermittently
