Session: 12-Sep-2019 07:30 to 11:00hrs
Notes: Another quite busy
session and some interesting occurrences. Suddenly we are catching Dunnocks,
two on Tuesday and three more today, must be on the move from somewhere? Similarly
Coal Tit, normally an occasional capture, so five in a session is unusual. It
might be that the similar Yellow-browed Warbler calls I played today attracted
them out of the woods. Otherwise Blackcaps and Chiffchaffs still being captured in good number.
Stonechats did the usual and perched on the top net string.

Sightings 30 Species: A bright
male Dartford Warbler was tracking the Stonechats during the morning, an immature Hobby flashed
through heading east just after nets up, many Swallows flying through in a south-ish
direction, they doing the same yeasterday when I walked the estern end, and a couple of flocks of House Martins drifted through in a similar
direction.
