Notes: What difference a week makes. Also just got back from a very hot Sardinia so the cold is a bit of a shock to the system. As expected, the summer migrant numbers have dropped considerably; just Blackcap and Chiffchaff ringed. Meadow Pipits perch on, under and around the nets but managed to evade capture. A mixture of mostly resident species otherwise.
Weather: sunny periods, cold early, warming up later, light breeze.

Nets: 48metres in three rides of 18m, 18m, 12m up from 08:00 to 10:30hrs
Lure (audio): autumn, warblers, redstart, yellow-browed warbler, meadow pipit intermittently

Recaptures: (1) Goldcrest ringed 02/09/2019

Sightings 33 Species: two late Whitethroats in company with Stonechats and Blackcaps, two or three groups of Meadow Pipits and finches in the surrounding scrub also a Swallow over (that I missed), and the now often seen Raven flew south over Sandleford Heath.
