Session: 20-Oct-2019 07:30 to 11:30hrs
Notes: First chance to ring
at the weekend for three weeks and which ment we missed the chance of any late
acrocephalus warblers. Spent 15/20minutes looking for one of my permanent guys,
seems to have “disappeared” though. Had not expected as many Blackcaps and a
good influx of Goldcrests. The Sparrowhawk went into a net as we were taking
them down. We missed a quite large tit flock that arrived in the scrub at
about 10:00hrs. The sunny but cool weather deteriorated to cold, overcast and a light breeze towards the end of the session.
